thank you

Thanks to the generosity of the folks who attended last week's fundraiser, Nancy Boy, Inc. and from H. Joseph Ehrmann, the proprietor of Elixir, we were able to raise over $200 for Partners in Health and their relief efforts in Haiti.

If you'd like to donate directly to Partners in Health, who have been working on the ground in Haiti for over 20 years, please click here.

Thanks again, and we'll see you in March!

see you next year!

December is easily one of the busiest months of the year, so rather than add to your already long list of things to do, we're taking the month off. Be sure to look for a new happy hour in January--most likely in the Mission. Happy holidays to you and yours!

One last thing, thank you to everyone who helped us raise over $100 in two events for two exceptional San Francisco-based nonprofits. In 2010 it's our aim to help even more nonprofits with our philanthropic happy hours. Want to suggest a nonprofit to support? Email: theBSsociety@yahoo.com.

Just a reminder that we'll be at 15 Romolo next Wednesday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m. Bring friends, coworkers, plenty of high-fives and be sure to order the Eye in the Sky--$2 from every special cocktail sold benefits Maitri.

build social capital while saving the world

Are you familiar with Falernum? How about Maitri? Let's chat.

Falernum is a housemade ingredient used in the special cocktail that'll be offered at 15 Romolo Wednesday, October 28. Maitri is "one of San Francisco's most respected and valued resources in providing care to people severely debilitated by AIDS."

We're supporting Maitri this month by offering $6 Eye in the Sky cocktails (El Mayor tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, Falernum, Peychaud's bitters, sage leaf and nutmeg garnish). Two dollars from every Eye in the Sky sold between 6-8 p.m. goes directly to Maitri.

Please join us, bring friends, build your social capital and make it a great night for one of San Francisco's most well-regarded hospices.
